Nikki Gyftopoulos holds a BA in Public Relations and a Dance minor from Hofstra University. She is an active dancer, choreographer, and instructor at numerous local dance studios in the New England area. From her choreography, she has received the Best Choreography Award and Judges Choice Award from That’s Entertainment Dance Competition and the National Student Choreographer Award from Dance Ovations Dance Competition. Nikki describes her choreography as an intertwining blend of distinct musicality, traditional technique, and emotional execution. In addition to teaching and choreographing, she has worked, and continues to work, with National Dance Competitions, including Open Call Dance Competition and Headliners. She also interned at PTC Productions in Manhattan, NY, which produces The PULSE on Tour, Open Call Dance Competition, and Yoga Nation. Before joining Thr3e Live Dance Company, Nikki Gyftopoulos was an eight-year member of the hip-hop crew, The Movement Specialists, based out of Fall River, MA. The crew performed at World of Dance, Monsters of Hip-Hop, PRELUDE Dance, and ELEMENTS Dance. They were crowned New England’s Best Dance Crew in 2008 and 1st Place Champions at PRELUDE New England in 2015.
