Justin Farmer
THR3ELIVE DANCE CO.
Justin Farmer, a New York native, received his early training at Everett Company Stage and School, a nonprofit organization for the youth.� He attended Jacqueline M. Walsh School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Rhode Island’s only public arts high school, studying modern, ballet technique, pointe and dance composition under the direction of Tovah Bodner Muro. Mr. Farmer took part in a spoken word collaborative piece, Portrait of a Teen under the direction of Colleen Cavanaugh. He has collaboratively choreographed one ensemble piece and multiple trios. He has also choreographed numerous hip hop and lyrical solos which had been performed at the Providence Performing Arts Center, the Peace Festival, Inspiring Youth Artist, and many other venues around the state. In addition to his choreography he has performed as a member of a youth dance group Case Closed which has opened for celebrities such as Lloyd and T-pain, fellow Hip-hop artist. He has taught a Creative Movement improv class for children ages 8 and up at Everett Company Stage and School. He has completed 3 year of teaching by the Dance Teacher Edgar Viloria. Farmer has worked with artists such as Donald Acevoda, Deb Meunier, Shura Baryshnikov and Michael Wilson. Mr. Farmer is now a part of a nonprofit dance company, “Thr3e Live Dance Company”, based in Johnston, Rhode Island featuring 15 members all spread throughout the states. Their mission is to establish an urban dance community for inner city kids that can express their individuality through dance along with taking affordable dance classes that teach each student industry
